A crucial aspect of You and Me Pre-School is that we are a charity.  We are run by a  voluntary committee of trustees, most of whom are current or past parents, who offer their time and energy to promote and support the pre-school.

The committee works hand in hand with our Manager, Business Manager and staff and is vital to ensure the smooth running of the pre-school.  They meet every half term to plan fundraising events, check the budget remains on track and ensure that the needs of all children and staff are being met.

Being part of the committee is a responsibility but it is also great fun!  It is an excellent way of making friends, gives you a real insight into what goes on behind the scenes at pre-school as well as the opportunity to have a genuine impact on your child's early year's education.

If you would like to help occasionally but not join the committee please get in touch.  We often need help at fundraising events, with gardening or during maintenance mornings!

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Our AGM takes place in September each year when new committee members are elected.  Usually members join the committee for a minimum of a year through many have chosen to stay on for longer.  At our AGM we seek volunteers for any vacancies we may have.
